Her long black hair was in a perfect bun. She sat in the throne, a sneer in her face. "Victoria! Please, we have to help the people!" Alice cried. "Guards," Victoria shouted guards came and grabbed Alice. "Please! Don't go down that path." Alice cried. "Its too late, mother was right, the world is cruel." ~~~~~~ 12 year old Victoria sat on the steps, twirling a flower, a smile placed upon her pale pink lips. Esther marched down the steps to her daughter. "Victoria!" Esther cried. Victoria's head snapped up, her bright blue eyes meeting her mothers angry grey ones. "Millie told me that you went with a peasant boy on a date!" Esther sneered. "N-n-no Mother, Millie's lying!" Victoria cried. "Fine, you want to lie, fine. GUARDS BRING ME THE BOY!" Esther shouted. "The world is a cruel place, especially when it comes to love,". Jack was thrown to the floor, where his knees gave out, making him fall. "Get up Peasant!" Esther snapped, Jack stood up, his knees trembling. His dirty blonde hair was combed but yet, a lock of his blonde hair was in his green eyes. "Now, is it true, that you went in a date with my Victoria?" Esther asked, venom in her voice. Jack flinched a little. "Y-y-es ma'am," he said. And the next thing Jack knew, he was banished from the castle. ~~~~~~~ Now, Victoria was now an adult, with a living Primce for a boyfriend. She was walking back into the castle, heading to the kitchen, a smile on her face, humming when she heard it. Jake was not alone. He was in his room, Victoria set the bags on the floor, creeping to the door. She flung open the door,Jake was kissing Melissa, a guard. "JAKE!" Victoria screamed. Jake pulled apart from Melissa. "Victoria, you weren't suppose to see that!" Jake said. Melissa stood there, a bit dazed. "Get out! Now! Get out of my kingdom or else I will have my guards kill you and Melissa, then the both of you can live happily, dead." Victoria said. Jake hung his head, but nodded, grabbing Melissa's hand, leading her out. When they were out of sight, Victoria fell to the ground, sobs escaping her mouth, as her body shook. "My mother was right, the world is cruel place, especially when it comes to love, from now on, i will never love again."
