Hey! girlfriend. 
I want y’all to know
Just because I’m southern now
Doesn’t mean I’m slow

Air conditioning now 
Has speed-ed up my life
It’s filled with many activities
And not with so much strife

There are many sunny days
When across the countryside
I absorb all the sights from
The new land in which I abide

I now have time for wildlife
There are many here to be seen
I love to sit in my lanai
Embellished by a screen

Of course, there’s so many
Wonderful attractions
Bringing all the world
For exciting interactions

Our community is full
Of friendships to be made
A mixture from ‘round the world
Like a southern marmalade

But no matter what I’m
Looking forward to
Y’all know that I’m
Wishing you were here too

We love to have visitors
To share in all the fun
So y’all come see us now
And join us in fun and sun
