#506 ALIGHTING A FLOWER Read Count : 164

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
A butterfly heading to a garden flower
So gently comes to alight
Upon a soft and delicate petal
But he does it all just right

Audaciously he is dining
Without a single care
For this delectable meal
For him is quite an avid affair

Until his touch is upon a foible
And the stem sways way down
And he finds himself a flight again
Looking for sweeter flowers around
