Altruistically speaking I’m offering a word of advice
Before you say anything negative, think about it twice

A foot in the mouth doesn’t taste very good
You may soon know to use different words you should

Pirouetting into another direction is hocus pocus
What you already said will be another one’s focus

So before others think of your speech as offal
Or you drive all your friends up a proverbially wall

Or maybe even chase all your good friends away
Be sure to think twice about whatever you say
