No, I'm not going that way

Was it twenty degrees North 
toward Andromeda?
Or Cassiopeia?
Should have taken that left at Polaris

I find it unnerving
how the night sky
never seems to change 
no matter where you are

So easy to miscalculate
Coordinates don't align

Does any of this look familiar?
I seem to remember my home 
looking similar to this one 

Same sky
Same floor
But the people

no more

They appear as they were
from the stored video files

Sound the same
Act the same
but seems a little
SYNTHETIC 
something seems fake

Chain reaction 
Something wrong with the results
Glitch in the system, perhaps

It says this place is

"HOME"

But it can't be
