Bryce couldn't believe the bastard did a background check on him. He was in his room ready to start breaking shit when Chasity came in shortly after him and she grabbed his arm, 

"Bryce." 

He sighed and said, "What?" 

"Relax. He is just trying to get to you." 

"Well news flash! It fucking worked! I am not even sure how he is looking up on my past but he is." 

She shrugs, "Internet is a crazy thing." 

He scowls, "Not funny." 

"It wasn't suppose to be funny." sighing she places a hand on his arm and presses her lips against his, against his lips he says, "Bry Bear. Come on now don't need to get all huffy. I can tell you are a sweet guy so stop with the act." 

He scoffs, "Hm... Sweet? I don't think so Chas. And don't call me that, you know I hate that."

"I know. That's why I do it!" she grins. 

Shaking his head he pokes her side then makes his way to the fridge where he grabs him and Chasity a beer. 

She studied Bryce, with a very curious look for quite some time and Bryce clearly noticed.

"What is it?" 

"Your mother... What happened to her? I don't know much about your past." 

He sighed, "Probably best you don't." 

"Bryce! Please just tell me! I am curious!" 

Sighing, Bryce rubbed the back of his neck and said, "She couldn't exactly take care of my sister and I, I mean she use to be able to until she was diagnosed with Schizophrenia when I was 5 years old. After that it was just my sister and I. My mother's mental health got worse and worse and by the time I was 12 she had a severe mental breakdown and was put in a mental hospital. She killed herself there by jumping off the building. After she died we moved here," seeing her stunned reaction he sighed and replied, "Glad you asked?"

"Yes... I am so sorry Bry." 

Shrugging he replies, "Its whatever. I try not to let it bug me." 

"What about your dad?... I mean I know he hurt you but-" 

"He is a drunk and the main reason I am so fucked up. Tried to kill me and uh... Hurt my sister, numerous times." 

"Hurt your sister?" it then clicked, "Oh!... You mean..."

Nodding he says, "I am surprised she stays so bubbly and cheerful. Anyways I come from a broken and shitty home. I am close to my grandparents, especially my grandfather, but they are all the way back in Colorado." 

"Do you wanna go back?"

"Of course. After I graduate me and my sister's family are moving back." 

The idea of him leaving. It hurt her, there was a pain in her chest and she couldn't explain why... Instinctively she hugs him and says, "If you are going I am going too!" 

Clearly taken aback he looks down at the short woman and replies, "What?.."

"Look, I dunno where... We stand. But I get the strong feeling that you and I, we are meant to be close. Not sure in what way, but I have nothing left to lose here. And I wanna go with you. After we graduate!"

He was surprised to here this from the woman he has claimed to hate since middle school. Looking into those beautiful blue eyes he nods and says, "Ok. We will see how things turn out in a year or so." he kisses her forehead and said, "For now let's go to sleep. It has been a long day." 

She nods, "Agreed."
