The ride to the nearest police station seemed to take hours, how far were they from any civilization? Miles and miles and it was to the point where the adrenaline had no longer coursed through Layla's veins, only exhaustion, fatigue however seeing the police station immediately seemed to wake her up, parking the car she immediately carried the sleeping child, she already felt a protectiveness over her and she rushed to the nearest police officer, which thankfully was a woman. She told her everything. This was only followed by numerous questions, and then a physical examination at the hospital. This was when her parents and Destiny's came into the room, mother's in tears. Layla has never been so happy to see them in her entire life. She immediately hugged them, telling them she was sorry. "Sweetheart we don't blame you." her mother touches her cheek and said, "We are gonna make sure those get sent into jail for the rest of their lives." Layla nods reassuringly then looks at Destiny's parents who say, "We don't know how to thank you enough Layla." Destiny smiles, "You can let me visit her." ×××××××××× A month and a half of endless interviews and therapy and the last few days of being in a courtroom Layla was feeling anxious about the results. Guilty or not guilty. She was feeling so anxious, she actually felt ill, nausea has recently become a more frequent thing for her however she didn't want to miss seeing the look on the fuckers face when he finds out he is guilty. 'We here by find you guilty of all charges. You will be sent to life without the possibility of parole.' a weight was lifted off her shoulders the moment she heard the loud bang of the hammer and watches Jace get sent away but not before he sends her a look. Rolling her eyes she immediately hugged her parents, Destiny's parents and Destiny. They have all gotten so close since this whole entire drama. "How about we go out and celebrate?" her father suggested. Lyla smiles, "That is a great idea." they all decided to migrate away from the courthouse. Lyla didn't wanna spend another minute there! It was far too much for her. Everyone seems to be having a blast at this party, congratulating her on the justice she and Destiny was getting, she pretty much tuned them out as she made her way to the bathroom. Glancing over her shoulder after shutting the door she sighs, pulling out a pregnancy test. She wasn't religious however she found herself praying. After peeing on the stick she feels her nervousness growing stronger and stronger with each passing minute. The two minutes were the longest moments of her life and when it finally past, she found herself not wanting to look at it. Closing her eyes she takes a deep breath, "1... 2... 3..." she opened her eyes and shock came across her face. Positive.
