She would be lying if she said she wasn't nervous. Lyla Miles was nervous. She had a gut feeling that this was going to change her life forever. After numerous texts back and forth the train finally came to a stop and people began filing out. Taking a deep breath she quietly exited the train her green eyes scanning the crowd. 

'Please be here... Please be here... Please be here...' She began walking through the crowd until she heard a familiar voice. 

"Lyla!" turning around her whole world seemed to stop... Its him! He is real! 

She was greeted by a big hug which she happily accepted and she says, "You came!" 

"Of course I did! Man... You are so much more beautiful in real life Ly!" 

She laughed and playfully swats his shoulder, "Oh stop trying to butter me up J!" 

Jace grinned, "I will not. Now. What do you say we blow this place and get some drinks?" 

"Drinks?" she laughed, "Sure that sounds great. What other plans does the great Jace Starker have in store?" she asks, looping her arm into his.

He shakes his head, "Hey now I cannot ruin the complete surprise birthday girl."

She shrugs, "Alright. I will humor you for now. But it better be good."

"Trust me. After you came all this way I am going to make sure you will have the time of your life." he said before they got into the car he said, "First thing is first. Drinks and partying a bit!" 

"Hm, seems like a great way to start off." she said. This is great!... This feels so natural.

The music was so loud she swears that she felt the earth move from under her feet. Lyla followed Jace into the place filled with people and he casually went to the bar and yelled, "Yo Franky! Gimme a couple beers!"

"Sure J!" 

It was a good thing the bright flashing lights didn't bother Lyla one bit. She smiled when her beer was handed to her and she said, "Guess its a good thing you are 21. Now I know who to go to to get me alcohol." she teases playfully.

"Any time baby doll." he said and he brings her close, wrapping his arms around her waist he leans down and presses his lips against hers. Kissing her deeply.

The kiss caught her a bit by surprised however her eyes fluttered shut as she returned the kiss. The moment it was finally broken she chuckled lightly, takes a big chug of her drink then taking his hand she says, "Come on. We are gonna dance." 

And the two did dance. Move with perfect sync, stayed close and had a couple more drinks this truly was going to be a night she was never going to forget. Then... After her second beer her vision became blurry... The world around her seemed to stand still and the noises became muffled. The last thing she sees before she blacks out was Jace.
