Lyla sighs as she set her backpack down in front of the door, shaking her head as she immediately just hears the bickering from her parents. The redhead quietly sneaks a peak around the corner and listens intently.

"I don't care Kyle you need to stop all this gambling nonsense! We cannot keep affording your terrible habit..."

"I have no idea what you are talking about Charlotte!" 

"Bullshit!"

Lyla rolled her emerald green eyes as the entire argument continued, she officially tuned it out... It was like background noise at this point for her. Her parents marriage was rocky, and she just wished all the arguing... Would just stop! Shaking her head she rushes up the stairs. Jace always knew how to make her feel better. He is always so understanding and unlike any other guy she has ever met. Logging into a private chatroom she typed;

LovableLuna: Hey Jace you there? 

PartyBoyJ: Yeah what's up gorgeous? :)

LoveableLyla: They are at it again... 

PartyBoyJ: What? Isn't that like the 30th time this week? You still haven't told your mom you found your dad cheating with you English teacher?

LoveableLyla: Please, she wouldn't believe me. I would need proof. Just wish she would leave him, they are clearly not meant for each other...

PartyBoyJ: Not like we are ;)

This brought a big smile on the beautiful redheads face and she tucks her hair behind her ear before replying. 

LoveableLuna: I bet you say that to all the ladies hm? :P

PartyBoyJ: No, only you. You are one of a kind Lyla. 

LoveableLyla: Aw thanks! 

PartyBoyJ: So have you thought about coming down here? I seriously want nothing more than to see your beautiful face in real life. Just wanna hold you... And kiss ya! What better way to spend your 18th birthday with me?

True, her Birthday is this Saturday...

LoveableLyla: Hm, seems very tempting... The three hour trip would definitely seem worth the three hour trip. I could take a train.

PartyBoyJ: So is that a yes!?!
