There is nothing like a child
To chase the blues away.
You get so much pleasure
Just watching a child play.

They can pretend anything 
Getting lost in their own world.
They win all their battles
As the smile on their face is curled.

There’s so much fun if you joined )
Right in and got lost with them too.
Your troubles seemed to melt away
As a smile to your face they drew.

So if you start to get feeling sad
Or just can’t get out on the town
Remember the last time
You had a child around.
