Once I broke a rule while at school.
I said, “Leave me the hell alone.”
I thought that it wasn’t very fair
As for saying this I was sent home.

Someone just wouldn’t leave me alone;
I was frustrated and made a mistake.
Most of the other children didn’t think
Much about it for my sake.

They were used to hearing such language
And often themselves did partake
But from my home and surely my mouth
Cuss words we did not make.

So for this reason, the teacher was quite shocked
And a punishment she had to give out.
I guess she was just frustrated too
And that is what this was all about.
