Not only are you my husband
But also my very best friend.
I know we’ll be together from
Beginning on down to the end.

There are times in my life
When just no one else will do
Except for my husband dear,
And then I can lean on you.

Other times when things 
Are happy, bright and gay
Holding each other we dance
Together the friendship sway.
