As we jog along together
Side by side on  life’s dusty trail,
Or sit quietly beside each other
Enjoying a tall glass of ale,

Whether we’re going to a party
Or a grand night on the town,
It doesn’t matter what we do
It’s much fun to have you around.

Our friendship is everlasting
For all that we’ve been through
Has just brought us closer together
Days together are bright and blue.
