#409 MOTHER'S DREAMS Read Count : 70

Category : Poems

If only he could start to walk,
Then if only she could really talk.
I’ll miss him, he’s going to school.
Now you must obey every rule.
With baseball bat she hits away,
Soon he brings home to Mom an A.
It is time now to graduate school
And for her future Mom will drool.
I know he is going to do better than me
What the future holds, I can’t wait to see.
Before you know it she has a date
And a wedding comes before too late.
Then a Grandma soon Mom will be
With a new addition to the family tree.
Oh how proud Mom’s eyes will light
And pictures she will show you all night.
No prouder Mom you will ever see
From the day you're born, past running free.
