The lilies of the field swaying gently in the breeze
Remind me of our friendship we share with ease.

The bright yellow glow of the petals splashed with dew
Is not unlike the smile of a greeting I receive from you.

The many things you do that brighten up my day
Ignite the sparks of happiness as you come my way.

As a friend, you are one who whether near or far
Couldn’t be a better friend than just the one you are.
