Over the last couple of years, I have had numerous conversations with people about politics. Here is what I know, from the reddest righty to the bluest lefty, no one has claimed to be opposed to TERM LIMITS. It is readily apparent that we cannot count on the people currently populating the chambers of Congress to make this change. Why should they? Most are in vote proof gerrymandered districts that ensure their lifetime positions. We, the voters, must enforce term limits upon these self proclaimed "lifers". Unlimited tenure is bad for democracy. Here is how we do it: from this point forward, regardless of candidate or party, whenever someone runs beyond a second term, everyone vote for the other guy. No exceptions. Term limits ensured!
