It was a dark night, the woods seemed longer than usual as I trudged through the fallen leaves to the spot where I entered. Normally it takes me five minutes, now I've been trying to find my way for nearly half an hour! Ten minutes later I spot the exit and sigh, my phone started ringing, I picked it up and saw it was mom, I sighed again she was probably worried, I guessed right.
"WHERE ARE YOU!?" Came the voice. "I'M WORRIED SICK!"
"Mom!" I shouted over her screeching. "I'm fine!"
"Where are you!"
"Five minutes away"
"GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW YOUNG LADY!" She hung up and I slumped against a tree shaking my head. I walk along the path towards my house and see HIS car in the driveway, I groan and open the door. I see mom sitting on the couch
and I shuffle into the living room, staring at the floor. "Look up young lady" Mom says sternly. I look up, and see she's grinning. "What?" I ask, looking confused.
"Guess who's here!" She says happily
"The turkey." I say without thinking. Mom looks startled.
 "What did you say?"
"Harper." I groan
"That's more like it!" I turn and see Harper standing a foot away from me, frowning.
Harper and Mom didn't know that I secretly called Harper `the turkey` as he looks like one, he has a long stringy neck, he's bald, he has a red beard and believe me he is FAT, no, he's ENORMOUS.
I groan and walk out the house, I needed fresh air. I walked back to the woods, ignoring my ringing phone. The deeper into the woods I went, the more I felt at home. Suddenly I felt like I was walking on my hands and feet, I look down and nearly faint, there, where my hands used to be were two black, furry paws, I looked behind me and saw two red ones where my feet were. I even had a tail! I see some shattered glass and run up to it, I see a black and red wolf staring back at me. I stumbled backwards, gasping. What was going on?
