You are an elaborate mystery to me. A dangerous force that brings destruction and torment.

You cover all things living, until they are no more. I fear you will do the same thing to me. I fear you will snuff out my light with your cruel darkness.

Your red noses, your winter drawn coats, your soft snowflakes, pureness, men of snow.

They are all a mask you hide under. A promise of childhood nostalgia and bright beginnings.

Alas, I am drawn to your sense of wonder. If I cannot fulfill my hearts desire what is the purpose of staying warm?

I know I am doomed.

I am snow bound.
