Hate must never stay inside like a child looking out the window. It must be squashed like a bug or left on a shelf of misgivings. You cannot sit on hate like a hassock or spread hate all over your face like makeup. Fear, dread, ignorance are all hate. A bird on a tree limb who is singing cannot possibly have in his mind then hate. Hate must never stay inside like a child looking out the window. A window has a shade that can be pulled against the sun. Hate cannot be covered up like a window with a shade. You can’t polish hate as you do the glass of a gleaming window. Hate can never shine. © Copyright 2001-07-27 by Jean E. Gorney
