Your journey in life is a step forward everytime, because regardless of how many mountains you have to climb you're still going in the same direction.
 Anything that is truly worth it will never come easy, thats why they tell you that you need to fight to survive because this world gets cold at times and getting through it won't be easy.
 Word of advice, don't wear your heart on your sleeve.
 The darkest thrills will play with it just to help them sleep, believe it or not they see it like a shiny rock in a pond, they grab it and keep it for themselves. It's no longer fully yours, it's now apart of someone else. You have enough to go around though, so don't sweat it. The right one will come along, you won't have to start with the confessions. They will build onto your heart using some of theirs and you'll no longer feel so empty. 
 The games will trip you up sometimes, the emotions might slow you down and your past will try to hold you back, but remember to keep climbing - breaking through that barrier is nothing like a red flag but I assure you that God will see that.

    I was never a strong believer of the man himself, but whether it's real or fake I'm ready to play with the hand I've been dealt.
 I believe in myself, I believe in the energy I put out. Full of optimism, I'm ready to hear him out. I have a strong grip of faith, if not for him, definitely for myself.
 Sometimes you'll have to dust it off and take the book down from the shelf. It's okay to reread but it's not okay to relive, the deepest and darkest days of your life will never be apart of here. 
Your hands are the roots, the pages are the leaves. Come fall time the ones that stayed a little too long will have to leave, you then restore yourself for the healing process.
 I like to call that the occasional blossom. Now you're ready for new leaves to come, here's new ink and a fresher mind. Now, go ahead and write down all the good you've done for YOURSELF this time.
