#194 A HUMMINGBIRD Read Count : 85

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
A hummingbird is lusting from flower to flower
Sipping up its sweet nectar hour by hour.

A blossom on my Hibiscus bush sways gently in the breeze
As the hummingbird twists and turns succumbing to its tease.

It’s wings are in a flutter, as the hummingbird gently sips.
The iridescent blue of its body brings a sigh across my lips.

Gently lifting up, flying way out into the air
I’ve watched a hummingbird dine, and it was quite an affair.
