Put out a welcome sign, a pineapple flag will do,
Or maybe a mat at the door that welcomes you.

Come in, sit a spell I say as I stand there with a grin.
It’s so great to see a friend as I welcome you in.

After a drink and a chat our afternoon’s whiled away.
Your visit here has really helped to brighten up my day.

Y’all come back now a sign on the fence post says,
For here at my door, the welcome always stays.
