#158 A CHANGE OF SEASONS Read Count : 57

Autumn leaves so gracefully falling.
Nary a sound we hear them calling.

Once their colors were bright with their glow.
Now they have left the branches so bare for snow.

We rake up the leaves and then fall to the ground,
Rolling and tossing the leaves all around.

Glistening and falling the snow soon blankets the earth,
While the tree stands out alone waiting is rebirth.

A long winter waiting, standing out in the cold
The tree has survived while growing quite old.

Soon the sun has warmed and brought summer’s light
With dew on the new leaves bursting into sight.

What a beautiful life has the tree,
As it goes through its cycles, it amazes me.
