I'm almost dying in my head 
Where stories and secrets are left unsaid 
I'm almost living In your heart
Where the lies and the space keeps us apart 
And I feel free but so damn trapped 
Where my future and my present mix with my past 
And I'm filled with glee but torn with glass 
Where the sun and the moon turns into brass 
I would tell you I love you 
But my emotions are like seasons they never last 
I just hope not to lose you to my past 
I know I'll miss the sound of your thoughts and your laugh. 
But for now just hold me even if I squirm 
And love me all you can even if it burns 
For these feelings will not be long term 
But hopefully from my mistakes you will learn 
To never hold an angel who's covered in her own burns
