My heart was awestruck,
this stranger was such the beguiler
I thought I had great luck,
Underneath he was quite serpentile.

He stole my heart with zeal,
As he swallowed each piece away
This monstrosity felt so surreal,
As my life began to sway.

The darkness crept within,
As he slithered around my pain
I let him assault with all abandon,
My heart was now his domain.

Then I came out of the daze,
The poison had steadily receded
Time had started to heal this craze, 
My fate now was alternated.

Once a broken heart. Now a new begining.
