Sometimes I get the feeling
I wasn't meant for this
Just when I think I'm healing 
Another scar appears 

When I'm daydreaming 
I fall into fantasy 
Subconsciously scheming 
to eliminate my reality

When I fall asleep 
I give in to the temptation of the night 
Rising out of the deep
I lose all faith I had in the light 

When I try to scream
My throat goes dry
Projected on to the movie screen
are the images of my other life 

When I realize 
the dream does not exist
and it can never be revived 
I know I will not resist

I don't want my dreams to fade away
I don't want to forget the night 
I don't want to run away 
I don't want my dreams to fade away
