Mute upon my window pane, gazing out as the sun sets. Dissappearing yellow, now orange almost gray. Whoever said I wouldn't enjoy such a day. Impossible moments, still feelings of despair, on mute. On mute but always aware. On mute as I feel vibrations coming near, I fear. 

Fear not for I am mute. I'm not the one to fear. I never appeared to be the one who couldn't run. I can't hide. I can't run, I can't out run ...  Mute as the sun sets. Gazing out at what mother has to share. One tree branch, will it hold I wonder? How long before it's to late?

Do I dare turn around?

I can't. 

Turn around, you can if you dare. Turn around and see what's here, waiting. Waiting for you to acknowledge me. Standing, waiting, I'll stand here. Im standing here. I'll wait, I'm in no rush you'll acknowledge me. You will, YOU WILL! Your scent...

I smell it. It breathes on me as if I didn't know it was there. Leaning forward looking down. Out of the window or do I dare? Her gentle breath upon my face. I close my eyes and then I hear... Eyes closed she whispers "Take the leap".
