Can anybody hear me?
Can anybody fucking hear me?

Am I one of you?
one of them?

Should I ask my friends?
but I feel so very
small
and they are just so very



far

How long before my voice
reaches your atmosphere 
in a frequency louder than a
whisper

I could be yours
if you let me get a little
closer

It's so cold out here
I'm terrified
but at least the stars are out
tonight 
to paint my bones
in their ethereal light

Solitude and Silence are company for the dead

and suddenly
I feel the mercury rising
