In the dark here I sit feeling so lost and alone.. hurt..so far away from anyone who cares or knows ..what I go through day and night..just to see another day. The smile I wear to show you I'm ok. The laugh I fake to ease your beliefs..the long sleeves I wear to cover the scars ..the ones we no longer can share. Everyday ..the shadows surround me telling me to end it all ..say goodbye and close my eyes..drowning in my own emotions guess I'm just going through the motions..thoughts of disgust cross my mind..why can't I be just like you So perfect and sane...you cant even see the battle deep within the scars my body holds... So alone in the dark with shadows of blood dripping slowly onto the cold cold floor..I say this once more ..why can't I be just like you so perfect and sane?
