#298 NESTING TIME Read Count : 88

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
The alligators are getting very aggressive,
And you better not go near the cubs of a bear.
The mocking birds are chirping loudly at night
When quiet sleeping is what we usually hear.

The songs we sing are remembering our Lord,
The rabbits are nesting in a hole in the ground,
Lams in fields, their little ones are born,
While the Easter bunny hops all around town.

Cattle and horses have young following close.
The flowers are growing seeds of their own.
Many creatures have little ones of which to boast.
We humans remember our young are just on loan.

As we walk hand in hand along the streets of time,
With new life bursting out all around the earth,
Our world is put to reason and rhyme,
For springtime is the time of new birth.
