     I can't understand why summer had to end so fast. I vividly remember the last day of class. I stretched out my arms, getting ready to relish the upcoming summer then...BAM! First day of a new school year. GREAT! 

     I wasn't used to waking up so early. Pulling back the covers, I tried covering my ears with my teeny fingers to block out the sound of my alarm clock. Unfortunately, I couldn't seem to go back to sleep. Ughhh! Wait. OH MY GOD IT'S THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!! GAH! 

     I rushed to my classroom, greeted by familiar pairs of eyes. "LUNA!" My classmates hugged me, sucking the life out of me. "Uh, hey?" I felt no emotion whatsoever. What on earth is wrong with me?
 
     I can hardly keep my eyes open. Ugh, orientations are so boring. I mean, it's the same rules. Nothing new. Dismissal finally came and I raced out of the room, knocking into one of my classmates. "Sorry" I said, not bothering to look up. "Luna?",asked a familiar voice. SQUEEE! IT'S MY BEST FRIEND!!! She just came from Canada so she wasn't able to attend our school last year. God, I never expected this. 

     Anyway, I should probably sign out now. My mom's calling me. I'll continue writing tomorrow.
