I was walking home with my best friend Hope. We were talking about how our days went. We we're planning to hang out at my place for a movie and video games. I opened the door and saw my dad screaming at my mom. 

"You piece of living trash you are crazy!"
"SHUT UP YOU IDIOT"
"YOU SHUT UP. OH MY GOODNESS. NOW YOUR MAKING YOURSELF LOOK BAD IN FRONT OF COMPANY."
"YOUR THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD"
"WOW THAT REALLY HURT MY FEELINGS"
"IM DONE WITH THIS"
"WHERE YOU GOING"
"DONT WORRY I'LL BE BACK"

My dad went into the kitchen and grabbed a knife. Then he cut and stabbed my mom. He looked at me, then left. Like it never happened.
"Mom!"
"It's ok Jake, I'm fine. Just call 911 quick!"
The police and ambulance came. They said my mom would be fine. 
"Sorry Jake, are you ok?"
"Yes, it's just weird this is all real."
"If you need anything, you can always count on me"
The next day... wasn't my best days. With all the ambulance business I barely got sleep. Just thinking of my dad's face when he left. He could have killed mom. When I went to class I walked in. At the wrong time I was half asleep. All I remember was me and some guy on the group. He looked like he got hurt. He looked at me and just started to hit me hard. I remember bleeding from my mouth and I had a black eye. Nobody helped me or did anything. They all just pointed at me and made noises,even my best friend. 

"On that day I knew that no day could be worse than those,so I should be happy each day about it."
"Wow. I thought my past was bad"
"Yeah. We'll that's my past story"
"Now we're even"
"I guess I'll leave you alone now"
Before I got up..he said something I never thought I'd here
"Jarold"
"Huh?"
"That's my name,Jarold"
"Cool"
"So,do you want some of my chips"
"Yeah,thx"
"Np. And if you tell anyone about our conversation earlier I will destroy you"
"Fair enough"
We both laughed after that. We just talked about cars for some reason, not that I didn't enjoy it. The bell rang.I decided to go see Carol. Since it's passing period she's most likely in the library. I was right. I saw her reading. I did hand gestures to show her to come out so we can talk. Of course she didn't understand them so I wrote it on a piece of paper and gave it to her.
We just talked about our days and made plans to hang out this weekend at the water park,which are my favorite! Hope saw us talking, so now she knows how it feels. I could tell she wasn't happy. School went by pretty fast. During the night my brain wanted to talk so I did the thing again so we could speak face to face.

"I don't know"
*And that's why I'm here*
"Good to know"
*Now that you made a new friend and got rid of Hope what are you going to do next*
"I haven't put too much thought about Hope"
*I never liked her*
"Well,you  never met her from the start. But your right"
*Be more specific*
"I just got to not focus on Hope"
*Soon you may not even need me. Your becoming wiser*
"No, I'm just starting to notice people for who they are inside,all the time"
