I felt myself sit back on my knees, and my hands brushed my matted hair back behind my ears. I notice-for the first time ever- the cycling of my breath through my lungs. I notice the intake of tge air through my nose and the outward push of it through my parted lips. An unnatural calmness took over my body. I wasnt shaking or crying or even thinking. My body took complete control without my say so,i was a machine. A contrivance of my own mind. For the moment the entire world fell silent around me and my mind went blank. I seen their mouths moving but their words didnt register in my mind, i couldnt hear them and i didnt want to,no matter what they said, I didnt care. 
In that moment, i felt a fire commence inside of me,and i knew that the moment this fire was ablaze no one would be able to incommode it.

This feeling was the beginning of a new story. A new me.
