Thanksgiving is suppose to be for the thanks of food and thanks for   what you do have
Me personally, I'm missing a few of the best people in my life 
So holidays aren't the same
They're just another day
It's hard to act like I'm okay during these times
My attitude and face expressions give it away
No matter how much I try to be happy 
The thoughts of missing people remain
I'm thankful for those I still have or who have came into my life
I wouldn't ask for a better support system
To those who left me along the way, thanks for showing your true colors 
Not everyone stays and is there for you like they say
Thanks to those who didn't choose to walk away
I appreciate those more than you know
So to be sure to acknowledge those who are still there
I just want to say thanks to those who've been by my side during all my bad times💜
