Yesterday was a bit...rough but a nice day of school should fix that up. Today was... different. I mean nothing  was the same from yesterday. I think that's the problem. Hope said hi to me, and I said hi. This time I didn't laugh. So she said..
"Everything alright?"
"Yeah of course"
*I'm growing kid. Whatever your saying, you might want to rephrase it*
"It's not my worst day"
*Better*
"Oh, it's just you seem different."
"Yeah I can see why. Anyways I gotta go to class see you later."
"Bye"
I went to class. Aiden and his friends talked to me again. They asked 
"Why you acting normal now?"
"What do you mean, normal?"
He started to laugh, so I asked the question again.
"What do you mean normal?"
"Who'll explain it to him?" 
But then the craziest thing happened. A person I never noticed before answered my question 
"A normal person is someone that leaves Jake alone and shuts up"
"Whatever Carol. Nerd"
After class I just had to talk to Carol. I saw her reading a book in the library.
*Gonna talk to your new friend?*
"I don't know if she's a friend. She's probably too cool for me"
*...You'll be fine*
So I walked in and tried to play it cool. I've seen tons of cool people lean on things. So I leaned, which caused the Domino effect on the bookshelves. It didn't hurt but it was embarrassing. But then the librarian came. She was nice, but not today. I've never seen her so mad. At the end all she said was
"Your lucky I don't suspend you! Start picking the bookshelves back up and organize the books like I had em. Consider it detention."
"Sorry"

I always wondered how it felt to be late to class. Now I get a taste of that life. I didn't know how to enter the classroom so I tried to be as quiet as possible.As soon as I walked in everyone, including Hope, stared at me. It felt weird so I just went to a seat. Someone was already sitting in my seat next to Hope so I sat by somebody I've never even seen before. I like meeting new people but he seemed scary, he actually scared me.
If there's one thing I like it's projects. But this project is gonna be tuff working with a person that scares you. 

The rest of the day went by pretty fast after that. If it's a good thing, I don't know. Schools over, time for detention.
