A family in a community small or wide 
Living in the city or the countryside. 

There is a family in your own community 
For which you may feel you owe some gratuity 

For there are many things we just have to do 
That often require more help than one or two 

Together we gather and we brace for a storm 
Or tackle any small job that is just the norm 

But whatever today we have to accomplish 
We all can have no better hope or wish 

Than to share whatever, burden or delight 
And ease the heavy weight or calm the fright.
