You’re not one to judge me
My feelings you don’t hurt.
You always greet me with a smile
And not as scowling or curt.

You’ve always kept my secrets
No matter what I’ve done.
Being my very best friend
Sure puts you at number one.

I know I can always call on you
Any time of the day or night
You’ll be right there beside me
No matter how great the fight.

So know you’re close at heart
And always you are on my mind
I’m so lucky to have a friend
Who is so loving and so kind.
