A three year old boy was mourning his dog that was put down. No one, especially him, said a word. He sat there, yet only shed a few tears. His family gather round the flaming fire pit and shared memories of their sick black lab. Then, the boy spoke. "I know why dogs don't live as long as humans." He started. "Humans come to learn how to love, but dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long." He said, peeking up at his family, who stared at him, astonished.
