#20 JUMP ROPE Read Count : 160

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
The bell is ringing; recess, and we run to the yard.
Dragging our jump rope, we’re going to play hard.

Double Dutch we yell we all want to play
As we start chanting DIFSA, DIFSA, DIFSA.

Which will I land onto add up my score.
One hundred, two hundred, three, or four.

It’s Irish I land on with one rope on the ground
The other rope spinning and spinning around.

Then it’s your turn and you happen to get
Spanish, two ropes swinging from right to left.

The bell rings again and we run off to class.
Oh, how I wish all this jumping could last.
