Senate Investigation Stalls Read Count : 181

Back in late March, the Senate promised to take the lead in the Russian election tampering investigation from the House, when Nunes, R-CA screwed the pooch and told the White House which of their people were under investigation. It is now apparent that the Senate probe has stalled and has no, zero, full time staffers working on this and none of the seven part timers has any investigative or prosecutorial experience. And none of them are lawyers.

All this proves that neither Congressional Committee is seriously pursuing this most urgent matter. As of April 24, 2017 not a single email, memo or phone record of the Trump campaign has been requested - in part because the panel's chairman, Richard Burr R-NC, has failed to resond to requests from the panel's Democrats to do so.

It also proves that neither house of Congress can get beyond their destructive partisanship. We must demand that Congress turn over the investigation of Russia-Trump collusion to an independent counsel. Call your Congressional representatives and demand this. We need to demand that these people do their jobs and put America's welfare first rather than party politics.
