Dancing flames around my bed,
Make me feel the warmth I long to hold,
I've been so damn cold.
Upon the ashes I rest my head,
Feeling the heat creep up,
Alas! The burns are not enough!
I ask for the wrath of damnation,
Pleading for the fire to set me free,
This addiction which manifests in my mind,
Will be the snake that kills so many.
I waltz with the embers,
And I hold the fire like a lost lover,
Embracing with flames with unearthly desire,
Up in smoke, finally I am released.

Hello Darlings! I'm not too sure about this poem, I wanted a more chaotic feel to it, so I didn't use a set rhyme scheme. Tell me what you think 😊 if you like my writing then let's become friends.
