Separate the dead and living,
If you can tell their flesh apart,
One is rotten and the other reeking,
The rats have begun to digest their hearts.
Father won't you please forgive us,
What sin could warrant such a curse?
Mother don't you dare forget us,
There's no more room left in the hearse.

The ground we walk is desecrated,
Holy lands to us unknown,
What is next anticipated,
Disease in every empty home.
Though we walk together on this path,
Our roads go two very different ways,
Though we feel the sorrow and wrath,
Only one of us will make it to the next day.

Our sober thoughts have left us drinking,
To forget the ones we've lost,
Our drunken actions leave us bleeding,
Infecting every one of us,
Sister, sister can you hear me?
I'm calling to wish you best of luck,
Brother died and I am weakening,
I'll be gone before the tears cause rust.

A plague feasts on us all without mercy,
Souls scream for the body that was snatched,
Eating our thoughts and leaving us empty,
As health and life slipped from their grasp.
This plague of the mind plays with our dreams,
Driving us deeper into the dark of our mind,
Nightmares creep in and we rip at the seams,
We brace ourselves for the end of our time.
