I was thinking about you today
Your smile so sweet and tender 
and touch of an angel 
The voice, everyone knows

You cared so much for your children 
If you could, you would be here every minute 
When I was six you had your life taken
You had no choice but to leave 

You did some bad things 
Still, I don't think it's your fault 
The drugs controlled you
When you were sober, you were the best

No one could ever take your place
You are one of a kind
You may be in heaven,
You still live in my heart 

One day I hope to see you again
Hughes, kiss and see your smile 
I hope you will be glad to see me too
I know I can't wait until that day

You were and still are a great mother
I hope that you are doing well
Your an angel now, with wings just for you
