                     CHAPTER ONE
It is December 24th, 1928, Gabriela Williams walked home alone in the dark streets of her home town Charleston, South Carolina. The one she grew up in as an only child. Her mother decided that Gabriela was enough to love and take care for. As for her father, he wasn't in the picture. Every important part of Gabriela's life was missed. From her first steps and teeth to her first boyfriend.
    Malena, Gabriela's mother however deeply denied any information about her father to her. The only person Malena would talk to was Isabella, Malena's best friend.
    As Gabriela walked home there was a bright light by what looked like a Red 1928 Chev. As it came closer it started to pull over. She told herself no fear in it. They probably have a flat tire or are out of gas. At the time the neighborhood she had lived in had not been getting a good reputation because of the crime.
