#94 MY FIRST CAR Read Count : 255

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
It's my very first car and I'm sitting behind the wheel
My father helped me get a really good deal
Holding the steering wheel I feel so much power
Oh how long I've waited for this very day and hour
I'm pumping the pedals but not going anywhere
Admitting along with my excitement there is some fear
But I've longed and waited so I now put in the key
And its off into the sunset I go, Wheeeeeee!
My heart is pumping as I'm racing it seems
Straight down the highway chasing my dreams
Then too soon its time to put the car away
And now it's just a memory this exciting day
And I know when morning comes around
My car and I will be off and running around town.
