The wind howls as I shiver from the frosty bite of midnight snow. Not a person in sight, just a stale scent of blood lingering and dotting the white ground. In every step I take, an audible crunch played through my ears. A twig snapped. I tense, it wasn't a twig, it's the sound of bones being stepped on and snapped. It led to my little cottage. Have I done it again? I took a deep breath to calm my raging nerves. I walked towards my cottage, silently listening to the bones snapping under my weight. I closed my eyes and prayed that this is another one of my dreams. I opened the door, it groaned from the lack of lubrication. It's dark inside. It made my stomach churn. I've always hated, no, despised the dark. I took one step, praying that I would wake up. I took another step, this time larger. I hear whispers but no one is around. I hesitantly took the third step. The door shut close as darkness filled my vision. I hear the crunching of bones. I felt something warm drip to my cheek from the ceiling. I took another step, this time backwards. As always, I'm seeing him, me. I see myself with monstrous cat-like eyes, with sharp uneven teeth, with a dismembered body rotting beside me as I munched on it's flesh and bones. I shiver in fright, I've done it again. If I reached out to HIM this time, would it disappear? Maybe, I didn't know. I woke up earlier than expected.
