Glistening and glimmering,
Shining and shimmering,
The Christmas tree is so bright.

Each little ornament,
And every adornment,
Has a memory not hid from sight.

An angel is placed at the very top,
Placing it, we hope it won’t drop.
Oh thank you Lord for Your love.

Amidst the shimmering of the lights,
On this wonderful night of nights
Lit for our Savior’s coming from above.

As a little Baby He was born
In a manger one early morn,
And to Him precious gifts were brought.

But the ultimate gift He’s given us all,
Which has kept us from the fall,
When this Savior’s grace is sought.

So on that special night,
When you look at the light,
Think of that heavenly star,

Which has lead us at last,
Towards our heavenly repast,
And give praise to Him wherever you are.
