OUR BEAUTIFUL EARTH Pastures of green, fields of gold, mountains with snow on their tops. Farmer’s plowing, spreading their seed and then harvesting their crops. Great wide skies of blue with clouds puffy white, Or black skies with stars twinkling through the night. Rainbows arching from horizon to horizon right after a rain. Waterfalls flowing down the mountainside came. Flowers in bloom and trees growing so high. To look at this beautiful earth gives me a sigh. It all fits together to make a beautiful picture, And makes us lucky to be here and feeling a whole lot richer. © Copyright 1997 by Jean E. Gorney
