It's been a long time 
But still remember
The day we met
I'll never forget

Before we met
I really didn't know love
Only love I knew
Was love for myself

Started out slow
Started out as friends
Everyday we talked
Everyday you listened

Time passed 
Days went on
You was showing me how to love
Now ready to show you

Made alot of mistakes
Told a few lies
But still you staid
Right by my side

Always in my thoughts
Always on my mind
I'm still learning how to love
Still learning today

You never need to worry
My love for you is real 
Thank you my love for careing
Showing me the way
