It's been a long time
Many years have gone by
Over a decade now has passed
Since we last talked
The last time you called 
To see what I was doing
Asking about my day
Trying to make conversation
Getting me to talk, for you to know
I was ok
I would love to see you
When are you coming over
Grandpa would ask
Soon I'd reply
Just not today
Let me give you a some advice he'd say
But the best advice he gave
Was the way he lived his life
The lifes he saved
All the love he gave
Hurts me to look back
All his calls I didn't answer
Some calls I just let ring
I wish I could go back
Call his calls back
If only he could awnser
I would tell him it was me
I would tell grandpa I'm sorry
I love you
Your dearly missed
Now when my phone rings
If I can, I'll awnser
Knowing its not grandpa
But could be a loved one asking about my day
